Bombardier (TSX:BBD.A) has announced it is participating in three conferences in September across North America.

In a news release, the company said the conferences will include:

  • Jefferies Industrial Conference on Wednesday in New York, New York with Bart Demosky, executive vice president and CFO representing the company;
  • Morgan Stanley’s 12th Annual Laguna Conference on Sept. 12 in Dana Point, California with Demosky representing the company; and
  • 23rd Annual CIBC Eastern Industrial Investor Conference on Sept. 26 in Montreal with Francis Richer de la Flèche, the company’s vice president of financial planning and investor relations, representing Bombardier

The company’s participation in these upcoming conferences comes after the announcement that its Global 7500 business jet broke more than 50 records in less than 50 weeks.

With a top speed of Mach 0.925, the average speed of its 10 fastest new records is clocked at more than 1,000 km/h, just 230 kilometres under the speed of sound.

“With every new speed record, the Global 7500 aircraft builds on its well-deserved reputation as the most impressive ultra long-range aircraft in the skies today,” Jean-Christophe Gallagher, executive vice president, aircraft sales and Bombardier Defense, said in a statement.

The company first debuted the Global 7500 aircraft at the Singapore Airshow back in February 2024 and highlighted its longest-range flight in business aviation, with a baseline range of 7,700 nautical miles, which is roughly 14,260 kilometres. The jet also reduces fuel burn and lowers emissions.

Bombardier has its headquartered in Montreal and designs, builds, modifies and maintains aircraft for business and defence. Its customers operate a fleet of about 5,000 aircraft across the world with support from 10 service centres across six countries.

Shares of Bombardier (TSX:BBD.A) are up 3.29 per cent to C$88.74 as of 11 am ET.
