CubicFarm Systems (TSXV:CUB) has appointed Tim Fernback as the company’s interim Chief Financial Officer.
Fernback will replace Rodrigo Santana, who will resume his role as Chief Operating Officer.
With more than 25 years of experience in finance, Fernback has held senior roles in a variety of early-stage companies; including ModoHR Technologies, Upstream Biosciences, and Ronin8 Technologies.
CubicFarms CEO, Dave Dinesen, expressed his approval of the addition to the company.
“We are excited to have Tim join the CubicFarms team. He brings a wealth of experience providing financial leadership to high-growth technology companies.
His in-depth knowledge of corporate finance, operations management, strategic go-to-market initiatives, supply chain management, and mergers and acquisitions, will be immensely valuable during this critical period and ongoing scale-up of the business,” he said.
Fernback holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from McMaster University, and a Master of Business Administration specialising in Finance from the University of British Columbia. He is also a Chartered Professional Accountant and Certified Management Accountant.
In addition, Fernback currently holds directorships with Deep-South Resources, Nevada Energy Metals, Surge Exploration, and Tri Capital Opportunities.
