New assay results confirm that Slam Exploration (TSXV:SXL) intersected 35 m grading 1.36 per cent copper equivalent (CuEq) in GW24-01, the first of three holes recently drilled on its Goodwin project in New Brunswick.

The intersection also yielded a core interval of 1.93 per cent CuEq over 16.20 m, including individual assays up to 6.86 per cent copper over 0.50 m and 3.31 grams per ton (g/t) of gold over 0.50 m.

Assays are pending on 98 samples representing 141.4 m of sawn core from hole GW24-02, including 31.80 m of pyrrhotite-chalcopyrite mineralization, as well as 78 samples across 112.5 m of sawn core from GW24-03, including 58 m of 15 per cent pyrrhotite.

The recently expanded 4,239-hectare Goodwin project spans 13 claims underlain by the Goodwin Lake gabbro, which is host to multiple drill-tested copper-nickel discoveries. The property resides in the robustly mineralized Bathurst Mining Camp, only 5 kilometres southwest of Trevali Mining’s multi-million-ounce Half Mile copper-zinc-silver deposit.

Today’s results substantiate Goodwin’s historical core interval of 5.7 m grading 1.79 per cent copper and 1.51 per cent nickel – the highest-priority target for the current drilling program – and enhance the billions in market exposure across gold, silver, copper, zinc, lithium, cobalt, nickel and lead an investment in Slam Exploration will get you today.
