NexTech AR (NTAR) has launched an augmented reality human hologram marketing platform for its supplement line.

The platform, called “Genie in a Bottle”, provides customers with a hologram of a registered dietician that will complement the company’s TruLyfe supplement line.

Using the Genie in a Bottle AR experience, customers who purchase supplements from the TruLyfe online store can scan a QR code on the supplement bottle to unlock a a unique AR experience powered by NexTech’s ARitize app.

The QR code will trigger a human hologram of a registered dietitian which will appear as a 3D human hologram on the bottle cap, describing the supplement’s nutritional information and product benefits.

Push notifications within the ARitize app will connect the consumer with the AR hologram so they can receive continuous updates on their supplements from the AR hologram as well as promotional offers and other brand information.

TruLyfe Vice President Noora Mousa is the company’s first dietitian to be featured on the platform. Mousa said the platform delivers product information in an uncomplicated and transparent way.

“I’m looking forward to helping empower customers’ knowledge and encouraging them to live their healthiest lives,” she added.

The AR-powered Genie in a Bottle hologram experiences will be available for three products in the TruLyfe line: Tru- C Gummies, Tru – Elderberry + Gummies and Tru – Turmeric + Gummies.

NexTech AR CEO Evan Gappelberg said the company is using its eCommerce platform and TruLyfe brand as a test ground for the technology, and in the near future, plans on creating Miele, Dyson, and KitchenAid Genies.

“Many shoppers are choosing online venues over brick-and-mortar for safety and convenience so it was important for us to develop an experience where people could personally connect with a brand in their home,” he added.

NexTech AR is a Canadian company focused on virtual and augmented reality experience technologies.

NexTech AR is currently up 0.75 per cent to C$6.69 per share at 12:38pm EST.
