Bam Bam Resources (BBR) has received results of 58 samples from at its Majuba Hill Project.

The road cut-rock chip samples were collected from the new drill road construction at the project, located in Pershing County Nevada.

The company calls the results “very encouraging” with six samples returning greater than 2,000 parts per million (ppm) copper. All of the samples occur within the western group of samples. Five samples along the road returned good gold assays with a high of 0.638 grams of gold per tonne.

The results are consistent with the copper leaching/enrichment model that the company is using to guide the drilling.

Reverse circulation drilling is in-progress to expand and in-fill the known-copper oxide mineralization.

The rock chip zone is a 213-metre step-out from any previously drilling in the known-copper oxide target area. All previous drilling was directed northward.

“The significant step-out that these high-grade oxide copper samples show is very encouraging. I am particularly encouraged that we are starting to see better gold assays from the surface rock chip sampling,” said President and CEO David Greenway.

The company’s flagship Majuba Hill project is located in the copper, silver and gold district located 156 miles outside Reno, Nevada.

Bam Bam Resources is down 5.56 per cent, trading at $0.17 at 11:56 am ET.
