Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust has licensed VitalHub’s (VHI) patient flow platform.

In November 2021, Royal Berkshire secured central funding to support the trust’s digital transformation of health and care systems.

The transaction is focused on Royal Berkshire Hospital and allows the licensed solutions to be used at all six trust sites.

This deal is a result of the trust identifying a need for a platform to enable a long-term objective to transform outpatient coordination.

The trust purchased the following Intouch modules from VitalHub:

  • Flow Manager
  • Self-Check-In
  • Mobile Appointment Manager
  • Patient Calling, Wait Time Manager
  • Activity Manager
  • HL7 Integration with Cerner

This meets the trust’s criteria to work with a technology provider capable of offering digital solutions across the whole of outpatients.

VitalHub demonstrated the ability in technologies required to support the need for a patient journey solution.

This partnership is a result of collaboration between VitalHub subsidiary organizations.

Royal Berkshire uses VitalHub’s SHREWD whole-system visibility platform to support their regional reporting as a member of the NHS England and NHS Improvement Southeast region.

It is one of seven regional teams in England that ensure that the area’s population has access to high-quality health and care services.

VitalHub Corp. (VHI) is down 0.31 per cent and is trading at 43.20 per share as of 4:27 p.m. EST.
