Trees Corp. (TREE) is now licensed to operate in British Columbia.

The Toronto-based company will now close its acquisition of five stores on Vancouver Island, having received approval from the British Columbia Liquor and Cannabis Regulation Branch.

Trees’ President and CFO, Jeff Holmgren commented,

“Now with a BC operators’ license in-hand, we can quickly move to close the acquisition of the 5 BC stores, which for the month of August, recorded gross sales of approximately $440,000, representing an approximate 50 per cent increase in sales for Trees post-close.”

Trees is an independent retail cannabis operator. The company owns and operates six retail cannabis stores that sell cannabis products and accessories in the Province of Ontario and, soon, British Columbia.

Trees Corp. (TREE) is trading steady at $0.015 a share at 10:50 am ET.
