ACME Lithium Inc. (ACME) has received a work permit from the Government of Manitoba for its upcoming drill program at the Shatford Lake Project.

The project is located in the Winnipeg River pegmatite region.

ACME plans to drill up to 5,000 metres during the program and has already mobilized equipment, supplies and a crew to Lac du Bonnet, Manitoba. The company’s surrounding land holdings cover roughly 70 square kilometres.

The company’s priority one, two, and three drill targets from multiple sites have been identified with several pegmatites, some of which were undocumented prior to the summer program.

One of the target areas, Shatford East, is part of a structure with multiple observations of pegmatites made that contained anomalous lithium nearby.

ACME’s Shatford Lake claim is south of the lithium-cesium-tantalum-producing Tanco Mine.

ACME recently completed a summer exploration program that used remote sensing, structural geology, ground-based geological mapping, and geochemical sampling to pinpoint targets for drilling. It’s focused on exploring spodumene-bearing lithium-cesium-tantalum pegmatites with high-quality lithium that can be converted to lithium carbonate.

ACME Lithium Inc. (ACME) is up 11.11 per cent and is trading at $0.60 per share as of 12:43 p.m. EST.
