Nextech3D.ai (NTAR) has filed numerous patents for converting 2D photos to 3D models.

The patent filing – “Fixed-point diffusion for robust 2D to 3D conversion and other applications” – focuses on using fixed-point diffusion for learning to construct 3D models from 2D reference photos. Nextech has been building a library of tens of thousands of high-quality, fully textured, photo-realistic 3D assets, with hundreds of thousands of individual parts, just for this purpose.

Building on previous patents, this latest filing enhances Nextech’s generative artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities and positions it for significant revenue acceleration and cash flow in 2023 and beyond.

The company believes the patents as key to its leadership role in the $100 billion 3D models market for e-commerce.
