Stream Hatchet has been providing Riot Games with software-as-a-service (SaaS)-based analytics solutions for the past five years and recently expanded its scope with additional influencer marketing capabilities provided by Sideqik, also a GameSquare company.

“Our collaboration with Riot Games marks a significant milestone for Stream Hatchet and Sideqik as we benefit from the complementary nature of their combined offerings,” Stream Hatchet’s CEO, Eduard Montserrat, said in a news release. “This is the latest example of how our expanded data and analytic offerings support the world’s leading game publishers and content providers.”

“Stream Hatchet, and its suite of data solutions, remains a trusted tool that allows our e-sports team at Riot Games to deliver on our mission to bring joy to millions of players worldwide through mind-blowing e-sports event experiences,” Gabrielle Haug, director of esports insights at Riot Games, added. “Having access to data and insights that tell the story of what resonates with our players is vital to our ability to continuously raise the bar on these experiences to the level our e-sports fans want and deserve.”

Video game developer Riot Games, known for creating popular franchises such as League of Legends and VALORANT, leverages GameSquare’s SaaS-based tools to manage its global e-sports event scheduling for League of Legends Esports (LoL Esports) and the VALORANT Champions Tour. Stream Hatchet’s portfolio of e-sports measurement and performance solutions is used by Riot to understand and track audience and viewership trends across its more than 70 e-sports leagues and more than 130 annual live e-sports events worldwide. This data guides Riot Games’ e-sports operations teams’ decisions about event scheduling and tournament formats, enhancing the experience for professional players and fans at major events.

Stream Hatchet provides data analytics for the live streaming industry.
