  • The request totals US$3.4 million per year in quoted recurring annual fees.
  • A possible on-premises deployment for 2,500 to 5,000 users was discussed at US$6 million to US$12 million per year.
Sekur Private Data, Inc. (CSE:SKUR) said it received a quotation request from a government in Africa for licenses and hardware tied to its secure communications products, with discussions described as being at an advanced stage. The company said the request is not a binding order and that there is no assurance a definitive agreement will be reached or that final terms will match the quotation. Sekur also said it cannot disclose the country or the government department involved due to a non-disclosure agreement and other secrecy and compliance requirements. This article is a journalistic opinion piece which has been written based on independent research. It is intended to inform investors and should not be taken as a recommendation or financial advice. Based on the company’s retail pricing, Sekur said the quotation covers 1,000 licenses of its Sekur Command bundle at US$1,800 per license per year (US$1.8 million per year), plus 200 SekurOne accounts at US$3,000 per account per year (US$600,000 per year). It also includes a minimum of 200 SekurVPN + STMR (Sekur Tactical Mobile Router) units at US$5,000 per unit per year (US$1 million per year). Sekur put the total quoted value for these recurring annual fees at US$3.4 million per year. The request also includes a possible on-premises server installation for between 2,500 and 5,000 users. Sekur said that option, including hardware and maintenance, would represent US$6 million to US$12 million per year and was not included in the US$3.4 million total. Sekur said it offers government clients two deployment models: a Swiss-hosted model running on Sekur-controlled hardware in Swiss data centres, and an on-premises model installed within a client’s own facilities.
“The quotation request does not constitute a binding order, and there can be no assurance that a definitive agreement will be concluded or that its final terms will match the quotation,” the company said.
Sekur described itself as a Swiss-hosted cybersecurity, private communications, and defense communications company, and a wholly owned U.S. subsidiary of Sekur Private Data.
