ACME Lithium (CSE:ACME) has kicked off its summer exploration program in southeastern Manitoba.

ACME’s Shatford Lake area borders with Sinomine’s Tanco Mine, a Lithium, Cesium and Tantalum producer (LCTs) since 1969.  ACME’s Cat-Euclid Lake are approximately 20 km north of the Tanco Mine.

The project includes remote sensing, structural geology, ground-based geological mapping, and geochemical sampling to localize targets for drilling. The focus is on spodumene-bearing LCT pegmatites as a source for lithium carbonate deposits.

The crew is focusing on areas with abundant outcrops in promising structural areas.  Sampling of soil, rock, and till is in the works, to be followed by structural mapping within these favourable domains in identifying pegmatite.

ACME Lithium is a mineral exploration company that focuses on acquiring, exploring, and developing battery metal projects.

Shares of ACME Lithium are down 1.33 per cent, trading at C$0.74 at 2:31 p.m. ET.
