ACME Lithium (ACME) has acquired 340 lithium mining claims covering approximately 6727 acres of the McDermitt Caldera in Oregon and Nevada.

The WS Project adds to ACME’s growing lithium portfolio with two projects in Nevada and two in Manitoba, Canada.

The WS Project claims are situated northwest Lithium Americas’ Nevada Thacker Pass lithium project and Jindalee Resources Oregon JRL project, which are both expecting a mass amount of lithium mineralization.

The U.S. and Canada currently import most of their lithium for lithium-ion battery construction. ACME intends to provide a long-life supply of lithium for both domestic consumption and export.

ACME’s WS Project’s northwest structural trend is visible with volcanics feeding warm springs that are present on the company’s claim area.

Two springs on private land just off the claim block sampled in the late 1970s by the USGS returned geochemically anomalous lithium values. Based on mapping and geology, ACME plans on an initial geophysical and sampling program leading to a future drill program.

ACME’s project location, relative to other lithium projects, does not guarantee exploration success or that mineral resource sand reserves will be defined on ACME’s properties. Exploration, development, and activities conducted by regional companies provide assistance for additional data and exploration work being completed by the company.

ACME Lithium Inc. (ACME) is down 0.85 per cent and is trading at $1.16 per share as of 11:21 a.m. ET.
