Radiation protection company, American Aires (CSE:WIFI), has reported strong sales despite the widespread damage caused by COVID-19.

The company, which sells products protecting customers from electromagnetic radiation, has robust business operations that seem unaffected by current disruptions.

Aires reported record monthly sales from December 2019 to March 23, 2020, compared to the same months the previous year. This stands in stark contrast to many other companies who suffered record losses starting around February this year.

This March, American Aires has hit all-time record sales, with a week still to go. The company also has strong inventory on hand, allowing them to meet the heightened customer demand that is ongoing.

American Aires’ President and CEO, Dimitry Serov, stated that the company’s exposure to the current situation has been somewhat limited.

“We have the benefit of being a company that is not a traditional brick-and-mortar store, but rather an online e-commerce platform that runs 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year,” he explained.

Aires can also credit its good fortune to the lack of limitation on its manufacturing supply chain, which is running smoothly.

“During these unprecedented times, people are increasingly concerned about their health and wellbeing. This is only adding to this organic increase in record sales,” Dimitry continued.

Despite the lack of economic disruption to the business, Dimitry stressed that the company is still taking the pandemic seriously.

While many companies are reassessing their finances, cutting jobs, or shutting down altogether, American Aires is ramping up. The company expects that its new marketing campaign with Green Space Worldwide will commence in mid-April, further boosting sales.

The development of its new online e-commerce platform and new 5G product offering are also both on-schedule and on-budget.

American Aires (WIFI) is up 41.18 per cent to C$0.24 per share, as of 2:49pm EST.
