AmmPower (AMMP) has announced the development of its Independent Ammonia Making Machine.

The device breaks water down into hydrogen and oxygen and adds nitrogen from the atmosphere to create ammonia.

Once in production, the company expects one unit to generate four metric tons of green ammonia per day.

Initial units will be available by late Q3 2022 at a targeted price between C$3-$3.5M per unit.

The company is marketing its technology to independent distributors and retailers of anhydrous ammonia used for fertilizer. It is currently in discussions with potential customers.

“We are pleased with the response that our planned IAMM units are receiving. The distributed production concept puts the control of the ammonia production closer to the end user and allows distributors and retailers to avoid the logistical supply problems that they so often encounter,” stated Gary Benninger, AmmPower’s CEO.

AmmPower is a Vancouver-based resource exploration company with a focus on clean energy.

AmmPower (AMMP) is down by 5.56 per cent trading at $0.51 per share as of 9:30 am EST.
