Arizona Sonoran Copper Company (ASCU) has given an update on its metallurgical programs and project management selections.

The TruStone Facility is now operating as ASCU’s sample preparation lab and metallurgical facility. The preparation lab allows the company’s team to expedite the assaying process at the third-party lab by removing the crushing and preparation required at the receiving lab.

The facility’s refurbishment included new flooring, ventilation, and equipment installation, with a three-stage crushing process. Also, a permanent water supply from onsite wells and a power supply from Arizona Public Service is scheduled to be completed early next year.

The company will operate a 12-column testing program for Cactus, Stockpile, and Parks/Salyer at the Cactus Mine site.

Currently, eight columns are running, with the remaining four to be scheduled soon. At Parks/Salyer, three metallurgical drill holes are now complete. A series of metallurgical holes will be applied to the columns. The material will differentiate between grade and preparation methods.

ASCU has also appointed Greg Phillips as its project process superintendent and Graeme Hendricks as its senior mine engineer part-time.

Arizona Sonoran Copper Company Inc. (ASCU) is unchanged, trading at $1.77 per share as of 1:49 p.m. EST.
