ARway’s (ARWY) new ARwayKit SDK 2.3 includes significant upgrades for users and developers.

The upgrades enable more immersive augmented reality (AR) experiences and address a wide range of markets, including retail, tourism, entertainment and education, increasing ARway’s reach into the $44 billion indoor positioning and navigation market.

CEO Evan Gappelberg believes the company is now positioned to deliver on revenue growth in 2023, as well as attract more developers to increase profitability.

New features

Image access points allow for the activation of AR maps and experiences by scanning images.

Videos can now be incorporated as spatial content in AR, providing richer and more immersive interactions.

Advanced content occlusion allows for improved depth perception and realism in AR scenes.

Custom branding watermarks enable developers to incorporate their branding into AR experiences.

Access to Analytics Suite empowers developers with valuable insights into user behavior and engagement.

An updated relocalization method offers improved background tracking accuracy and stability, ensuring a more reliable user experience.

Relocalization notifications alert users in case of significant drift, ensuring a consistent AR experience.

The company has also taken measures to address accidental activations and drifting issues in AR maps after scanning QR codes.
