Bird Construction (TSX:BDT) announces contracts with Capstone (TSX:CSE.PR.A)

Bird Construction (BDT) was awarded engineering and construction contracts for two wind farms with Capstone Infrastructure Corporation (CSE.PR.A).

The Wild Rose 2 Wind Farm will be constructed in Cypress County, Alberta, just southeast of Medicine Hat. It will have a rated capacity of 192 megawatts of renewable energy.

The Buffalo Atlee Wind Farm contract has a rated capacity of 61.70 megawatts and will be located approximately 100 kilometres northwest of Medicine Hat, Alberta.

Capstone is a developer, owner, and operator of clean and renewable energy projects across North America. Its portfolio includes approximately 776 megawatts of installed capacity across 30 facilities, including wind, solar, hydro, biomass, and natural gas cogeneration power plants.

Bird Construction Inc. (BDT) is down 0.74 per cent, trading at $6.66 per share as of 3:44 p.m. ET.

Capstone Infrastructure Corporation (CSE.P.A) is up 1.67 per cent, trading at $15.25 per share as of 3:45 p.m. ET.
