Black Mountain Gold USA (BMG) recently completed a mechanical rock channel sampling program at its Mohave Gold Project in Arizona.

The program at the project confirmed the widespread nature of gold mineralization outlined in a 2020 sampling program.
That program included a sample of 78.1 grams of gold per tonne.
The company has also submitted all environmental baseline study reports to the Bureau of Land Management and the permitting for the company’s Exploration Plan of Operation (EPO) is progressing.
Mechanical rock channel sampling focused on the northern half of the project. Sampling was completed to produce more reliable data via channel sampling than the previous rock chip sampling and to expand on the sampling done in 2020.

One hundred samples comprised of 90 rock samples, seven blanks and three standards were submitted for analysis and assay results are expected in the second quarter of 2021. All data generated by the sampling program will be incorporated into the Mohave Project geological model to aid in drill hole targeting. A follow-up channel sampling program on several other prospects in the north as well as various prospects in the southern portion of the project is planned for the third quarter of 2021.

The company is progressing with its Exploration Plan of Operation in preparation for a 5,000 metre drill program.

Black Mountain Gold USA is unchanged on the day, with shares of the company trading at C$0.51 at 12:06 pm ET.
