Black Tusk Resources (TUSK) is securing permits to drill on its PG Highway and MoGold Projects in Quebec.

The permit application for the PG Highway project included six drill pads with associated access roads. Black Tusk plans to drill up to 2,000 metres from the permitted drill pads, with targets at depths ranging from 50 to 300 metres below the surface.

The PG Highway property had a recent survey completed to cover zones targeted through geologic assessment and rock sampling. The survey data allegedly identified a group of strong conductive anomalies in places comparable with areas of rock exposures which contained significant percentages of pyrite and pyrrhotite.

As for the MoGold project, the company’s permit application for the area included four drill pads to allow up to 500 metres of diamond drilling for testing the relatively shallow targets.

Previous reports of findings from a survey identified six localized anomalies that are roughly grouped around the Boily-Bérubé mineral occurrence. This is also the area where Black Tusk obtained rock samples that returned elevated values for silver, copper and zinc.

Black Tusk Resources Inc. (TUSK) is unchanged trading at $0.02 per share as of 11:17 a.m. ET.
