The aircraft will expedite BUA’s long-range travel obligations, allowing leadership to make non-stop connections from Lagos to as far as Los Angeles, Perth and Tokyo.
The Global 8000 features four true living spaces, which can seat a total of up to 19 passengers, all while achieving a top speed of Mach 0.95, a range of up to 14,816 kilometres and the lowest cabin altitude in business aviation at only 2,691 feet.
The milestone follows Bombardier’s robust Q1 2026 financial results, including revenue of US$1.6 billion, up by 5 per cent year-over-year, paired with net income of US$53 million, up by 20 per cent year-over-year, with a growing backlog of US$20.3 billion expected to foster growth over the next few years.
