Bonterra Resources (BTR) has released new exploration results from a drilling program at the Moss property.

The company has drilled 16 holes covering 6,990 metres at Moss since September 2021 and has received partial results from 12 holes so far.

Recent drill results at Moss have confirmed the existence of high-grade gold mineralization in hole UB-21-15, which returned 6.4 g/t gold over 1.5 metres, including 18.9 g/t gold over 0.5 metres.

Other highlights include 6.5 g/t gold over 1.5 metres in hole UB-21-16.

“These new high-grade exploration drilling results at Moss are very encouraging,” said Bonterra CEO Pascal Hamelin.

“Importantly,” he added, “Moss is open along strike and at depth and situated between the company’s Barry deposit and the neighboring Windfall deposit.”

The most recent exploration drilling at Moss was designed to expand the existing area of gold mineralization in the Moss Center and Moss East areas. Historic drilling in those areas intersected 15.2 g/t gold over 1.3 metres, 70.9 g/t gold over 2.6 metres, and 102.2 g/t gold over 0.2 metres.

“We currently plan to continue drill testing the Moss target area in the coming year,” remarked Mr. Hamelin.

Bonterra Resources is a Canadian gold exploration company with a large portfolio of assets anchored by a central milling facility in Quebec.

The company has four main assets, Gladiator, Barry, Moroy, and Bachelor, that collectively have a total of 1.24 million ounces in the measured and indicated categories and 1.78 million ounces in the inferred category.

Shares in Bonterra Resources Inc. (BTR) are currently down 1.52 per cent, trading at $1.30 per share as of 10:25 am EST.
