Brixton Metals Corporation (BBB) has found copper-gold mineralization on its Thorn Project in British Columbia.

The mineralization was discovered from surface sampling on the Metla, Trapper, and Val targets.

At the Metla Target, rock grab samples yielded an average of over 1.00 per cent copper, with 25 samples yielding greater than 5.00 per cent copper. Visible gold was observed in the area’s surface grab samples, with 14 rock grab samples yielding greater than 10 grams of gold per tonne and seven samples yielding greater than 25 grams of gold per tonne.

Highlights at the other targets included rock grab sample D131593, which assayed 152 grams of gold per tonne and 187.0 grams of silver per tonne at Trapper, as well as rock grab sample D200353, which assayed 50 per cent copper and 674 grams of silver per tonne at Val.

Chairman and CEO of Brixton Metals, Gary Thompson, stated,

“We are excited to see the high volume of impressive copper, gold and silver grades from surface sampling… our most meaningful program on the Metla Target since its acquisition in 2020.”

These results are the remaining assays from the 2022 season on the project, where a total of 14 large-scale copper-gold targets have been outlined so far. About 497 rock samples and 1,133 soil samples were collected as a part of 18,122 metres of drilling.

Brixton Metals Corporation (BBB) is up 4.35 per cent, trading at $0.24 per share as of 1:37 p.m. EST.
