Brixton Metals (BBB) has revealed the initial results from its maiden drilling program at the Hog Heaven Project in Montana.

The company hit a bevy of high-grade silver, gold and copper results from a seven-hole drill program, which totalled 1,400 metres.

The company’s largest result was a 224.85 metre zone of mineralization that graded at 78.16 grams per tonne silver, 0.66 grams per tonne gold and 0.24 per cent copper.

That huge result included several smaller results, including 5.48 metres of strike grading at 445.79 grams per tonne silver, 1.41 grams per tonne gold and 1.50 per cent copper.

The best copper result was 2.13 metres of 917.36 grams per tonne silver, 2 grams per tonne gold, 3.06 per cent copper.

The longest result was a 53.49 metre result at 165.90 grams per tonne silver, 1.238 grams per tonne gold and 0.55 per cent copper.

The best gold and silver result was a 1.37 metre strike at 1,750 grams per tonne silver, 5.39 grams per tonne gold and 2.65 per cent copper.

Brixton’s initial drilling work was based on historic data it found on the Hog Heaven property from the 1970’s and 1980’s at the main mining area on the site.

Chairman and CEO of Brixton Metals, Gary Thompson, said he was very pleased to have wrapped up the initial drilling work.

“The new strategic approach under Brixton is to define a compliant resource on the high-grade silver-gold-copper targets as a near term underground operation versus the historic mine plan, which was an open put mine plan.

“Based on these results and our preliminary interpretation of the remaining holes, we plan to complete a Phase two exploration program at the Hog Heaven project later this summer,” he said.

Brixton Metals (BBB) is up 6.25 per cent and is trading at C$0.26 per share at 11:45 am EDT.
