Brixton Metals (BBB) has revealed the results of its latest drilling program at the Hog Heaven project.

The company drilled a total of seven holes across 1,400 metres, hoping to validate a host of 1970’s and 1980’s drill results in the main mineralised zone on the property. This was the first drill program Brixton has conducted on the property.

The drills hit broad intercepts of silver mineralization on the property, including 152.09 metres of mineralization at 88.81 grams per tonne silver and 0.22 grams per tonne gold. Within that result was an internal assay across 25.90 metres at 306 grams per tonne silver and 0.92 grams per tonne gold.

Another drill intercepted 13.96 metres at 435.39 grams per tonne silver and 0.96 grams per tonne gold.

Drill 20-03 hit a 143.77 metre result that graded at 77.71 grams per tonne silver and 0.55 grams per tonne gold. That result also included higher grade intercepts of 7.77 metres at 492.33 grams per tonne silver and 2.15 grams per tonne gold.

Chairman and CEO of Brixton Metals, Gary R Thompson said he was excited to see high grades in broad mineralised intervals at the Hog Heaven project.

“We are looking forward to the balance of the maiden drill results as we plan for the Phase 2 exploration program at the Hog Heaven project, where we hope to follow-up these results and test the new targets identified by our 2020 soil sampling program,” he said.

Brixton Metals (BBB) is down 12 per cent and is trading at C$0.22 per share at 10:55 am EDT.
