Bullion Gold Resources (BGD) has completed a drilling program on its Bousquet project in Québec.

This 1,000-metre program, consisting of four holes, was out to test the extensions at depth as well as better defining part of the Paquin East zone.

The drillings all encountered the potential mineralized, altered, and silicified zones sought. Visible gold was found in one of the boreholes. The team is working on core descriptions and preparing to ship samples to an assay lab within the next few days.

For now, the company is concentrating its resources where most of the gold showings are found to the south. The company has obtained all the necessary permits that can support a drilling program of more than 10,000 metres. The company expects to start a financing round during the autumn season.

The Bousquet project is made up of 71 claims covering an area of approximately 236 sq. km. It runs along nearly 8 km of the Cadillac-Larder Lake fault, one of the world’s most prolific gold-bearing faults. South of this fault, there are the Paquin East and West, Decoeur, Joannès and CB-1 gold showings, which are located in a gold corridor recognized by drilling of approximately 2.75 km.

Very little exploration work has been done to the west and north of the fault. Based on an aerial magnetic survey, the company has traced several targets to be eventually tested by drilling.

Bullion Gold is involved in identifying, exploring, and developing viable mineral properties in the province of Québec.

Bullion Gold Resources Corp. (BGD) is trading steady at C$0.06 per share.
