Bullion Gold Resources (BGD) has started a drilling campaign of at least 1,000 metres at its Bousquet Project.

The project is located in the Abitibi Greenstone Belt, Québec.

Bullion Gold holds 23.6 sq km of prospective land, approximately 40 km east of Rouyn-Noranda and 80 km west of Val-d’Or.

The drilling program will focus on the Paquin East showing. The targets determined will aim to test the potential lateral and depth extensions of the Paquin East zone.

The Paquin showing had the deepest gold intersection on the property with a vertical depth of 325 metres, where 23.52 g/t Au over 1.2 m was intersected (GM 61411). High-grade gold mineralization at depth is known from nearby mining operations.

The company’s President and CEO, Jonathan Hamel, called this a relaunch of drilling on Bousquet.

“The project is located in the heart of one of the best mining camps in the world and could reveal interesting potential given the first results published at the beginning of the year (16.96 g/t Au over 9 metres.)

The Cadillac-Larder Lake fault is one of Canada’s most prolific gold-bearing faults.

More than 100M ounces of gold have been produced historically from the trend.

The property overlies nearly 7 km of the Cadillac Fault. The property’s drill-tested gold showings trend along an east-northeast gold corridor more than 3.5 km long, south of the fault.

Bullion Gold is involved in identifying, exploring, and developing viable mineral properties in the province of Québec.

Bullion Gold Resources Corp. (BGD) opened trading at C$0.055 per share.
