Cambria Gold Mines (TSXV:CAMB) reported a series of high-grade gold intercepts from its ongoing infill drilling program at the Silver Coin Deposit, part of the company’s Premier Gold Project in northwestern British Columbia.
The latest assay results from four diamond drill holes totalling 657 metres include a standout intersection of 98.56 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 8.2 metres, including an exceptional 794.00 g/t gold over 1.0 metre, in drill hole SC26-2714.

The results mark the first batch of 2026 infill drilling assays released from the Silver Coin Deposit, located approximately five kilometres north of the Premier Mill and connected by an existing haul road.
High-grade results support development plans
Among the notable drill intersections reported by the company were:
- 98.56 g/t gold over 8.2 metres, including 794.00 g/t gold over 1.0 metre, in hole SC26-2714.
- 22.62 g/t gold over 4.4 metres, including 93.80 g/t gold over 1.0 metre, in hole SC26-2710.
- 3.75 g/t gold over 20.0 metres, including 19.95 g/t gold over 1.0 metre, in hole SC26-2710.
- 4.55 g/t gold over 10.6 metres and 2.32 g/t gold over 30.0 metres in hole SC26-2719.
The drilling program is aimed at increasing confidence in existing resources and supporting future mine planning as Cambria advances toward restarting operations at the historic Premier Mining Complex.
Silver Coin’s role in Premier restart
Silver Coin is expected to play a key role in Cambria’s strategy to restart the 2,500-tonne-per-day Premier Mill. The company plans to blend ore from Silver Coin with higher-grade material from the nearby Premier Deposit to provide initial mill feed while construction progresses at the Red Mountain Deposit.
According to Cambria, the deposit hosts gold mineralization within quartz breccias and quartz veins containing base metal sulfides. The highest-grade zones are associated with visible gold occurring within broader mineralized structures.
The northern portion of Silver Coin was previously mined during the 1990s by Westmin Resources and Tenajon Resources using underground longhole stoping methods. Current exploration is focused on extending and better defining mineralization south of the historic workings.
Major drill program underway
The company recently completed more than 14,000 metres of drilling at Silver Coin and expects additional assay results to be released over the coming weeks.
These results will be incorporated into an updated Mineral Resource Estimate and Feasibility Study targeted for completion during the first half of 2027. Cambria also plans to continue infill drilling through 2026 and into 2027, with a second phase of underground drilling expected to begin in early 2027.
Leadership insights
“High gold grades over potentially underground bulk mineable widths at the Silver Coin Deposit makes this area a priority for underground development in the spring of 2027. Our team has outlined a strong geological model of a multi-phased epithermal gold system with multiple, wide mineralized domains, several of which are open for expansion.” Cambria Gold Mines’ president and CEO, Robert McLeod, said in a news release. “Silver Coin is a key deposit bringing both tonnes and grade to the hub-and-spoke complex we are building to support the Premier Mill. We are very encouraged by these results as we look towards restarting production.”
Cambria Gold Mines Inc. engages in the exploration, evaluation, and development of mineral properties in Canada and the United States. The company explores for gold, silver, copper, porphyry copper, and molybdenum deposits.
Cambria Gold Mines stock (TSXV:CAMB) closed trading 2.82% higher at $0.73 but has lost 2.67% since the year began.
