Canada Carbon (CCB) has received new results from its Asbury Property in Quebec.

December 2022 drilling and trenching completed on the eastern part of the property highlight the possible northeast extension of graphite mineralization reported in showing MC8805 (8.14 per cent Cg over 18.9 m). The drill program aimed to test select targeted VTEM anomalies and conductors at depth that, according to Dubé (2013), extend more than 4 km from the Asbury deposit to the northeast.

Standout drilling includes:

  • DDH22-AS-10: 5.00 per cent Cg over 33.5 m, including 13.86 per cent Cg over 5.05 m, as well as 2.73 per cent Cg over 18.2 m, including 9.53 per cent Cg over 1.35 m
  • DDH22-AS-07: 2.21 per cent Cg over 58.85 m, including 9.21 per cent Cg over 7.25 m

Standout channel sampling includes:

  • CS-AS22-01: 1.01 per cent Cg over 10.0 m, including 1.99 per cent Cg over 3.0 m
  • CS-AS22-02: 0.67 per cent Cg over 13.5 m
  • CS-AS22-05a: 4.24 per cent Cg over 6.5 m, including 9.15 per cent Cg over 1.5 m

The company will send additional samples from unassayed sections to potentially increase the length of the intersects and to prepare the next phase of drilling, which will support an Asbury resource estimate. Numerous conductors on the property remain untested.

CEO Ellerton Castor spoke with Shoran Devi about the news.

Canada Carbon is a mineral exploration company engaged in the acquisition, exploration and evaluation of mineral properties in Canada.

Canada Carbon (CCB) opened unchanged trading at $0.05 per share.
