Visible Gold and New Mineralized Zones Discovered on Canadian Metals Inc. GoldStrike Property, New Brunswick (CNW Group/Canadian Metals Inc.)

Canadian Metals (CME) has discovered visible gold and new mineralized occurrences while prospecting its GoldStrike Property in Ontario.

Both geophysical assessments, the Helicopter Borne Magnetic and Time Domain Electromagnetic (TDEM) and Induced Polarization (IP) surveys have been completed, and interpretation and target identification are in progress.

A total of 164 samples were collected and have been dispatched to Actlabs Ltd. for fire assay and lithogeochemical analysis; results are expected by mid to late-September.

An IP survey will be carried out at a new mineralized rhyolite occurrence, Alyssa W, which was found 400 metres west of the original Alyssa discovery. The area was tested for its economic potential by either trenching and/or drilling.

The interpretation of the Mag-TDEM and IP surveys has outlined major structures and anomalies associated with mineral occurrences indicating continuity to the mineralized zones.

Canadian Metals Inc. (CME) is engaged in acquiring, exploring, and evaluating mineral properties in Quebec and New Brunswick. Its properties include Lac La Chesnaye Property, Chisholm Brook Property, Frenette Property, Silicate Brutus, Seignelay, Lac Robot, Baie-Trinite, and Mouchalagane Properties.

Shares of Canadian Metals (CME) are trading steady at $0.095 as of 3:30 pm ET.
