Century Lithium (LCE) and Koch Technology will collaborate on the Li-Pro process for direct lithium extraction.

The extraction process will take place at Century Lithium’s extraction facility pilot plant in Nevada.

Additionally, KTS will provide engineering for a full-scale deployment process for Century Lithium’s Clayton Valley Project. Century Lithium will fund the study, installation, and operation of the equipment at the pilot plant.

KTS will also provide training, support, and supplement costs for the direct lithium extraction portion of the processing plant.

As part of the program, certain key components of the Li-Pro process will be tested at the pilot plant. The program is independent from the Clayton Valley Project’s ongoing feasibility study and will begin once necessary equipment has arrived at the pilot plant.

Adam Sackett, President of Koch Technology Solutions, commented,

“As the energy transformation accelerates, we are excited to collaborate with them on the path to commercializing Li-Pro technology with our expanding set of complementary capabilities.”

Back in March of last year, Century Lithium purchased a license to the Lionex direct lithium extraction process and Koch Technology Solutions subsequently acquired exclusive rights to the Lionex technology. Since then, Lionex has been integrated into the Li-Pro process.

Century Lithium is an advanced-stage lithium exploration company.

Century Lithium (LCE) is up 1.42 per cent trading at $1.43 per share as of 12:54 pm EST.
