Chakana Copper (PERU) has announced a non-brokered private placement for gross proceeds of up to C$7 million.
The company will issue up to 63,636,363 units at a price of $0.11 per unit. Each unit will consist of one common share and one-half of one common share purchase warrant. Each whole warrant will entitle the holder to purchase one additional share at a price of $0.20 for a period of two years. Warrants are subject to an acceleration clause.
Proceeds will be used for exploration and development of the company’s high-grade copper-gold-silver discovery at the Soledad Project, located in Peru, and for general working capital.
The offering is subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.
