- Charlotte’s Web Holdings (TSX:CWEB) has announced a number of staffing changes in the management team.
- Chief Operating Officer Stephen Lermer has resigned today.
- Company co-founder and Vice President of Cultivation Operations, Jared Stanley, will fill the newly created role of Chief Cultivation Officer.
- Kelly Shea has joined the company in the newly created role of Senior Vice President of Government Affairs & Corporate Communications.
- Charlotte’s Web’s share price is down 0.3 per cent, with shares trading at $9.93 apiece.
Hemp products company Charlotte’s Web Holdings (CWEB) has announced a number of staffing changes in the business’ management team. The announced executive changes include resignations, promotions, and the creation of entirely new roles.
In particular, Charlotte’s Web must announce the resignation of current Chief Operating Officer Stephen Lermer, who is returning home to Central America.
While at Charlotte’s Web, Mr Lermer was responsible for the assembly of the company’s vertically integrated supply chain teams. Chief Financial Officer Russ Hammer will supervise Mr Lermer’s teams, until the company announces Mr Lermer’s replacement.
Charlotte’s Web has not yet named the new Chief Operating Officer, but has expressed gratitude for Mr Lermer’s service at the company. “We thank Stephen for his contributions and wish him the best in his future endeavours”, said Charlotte’s Web CEO Deanie Elsner.
Company co-founder and Vice President of Cultivation Operations, Jared Stanley, will take on the newly created role of Chief Cultivation Officer. This appointment comes after six years of Mr Stanley’s excellent work in the company’s cultivation process.
Mr Stanley spoke with gratitude about the promotion, saying “Cultivation and genetics are the foundation of Charlotte’s Web, and I am thrilled to be leading it for the organisation I helped create”.
Charlotte’s Web has also welcomed newcomer Kelly Shea, formerly of Danone North America. Ms Shea will fill the newly created position of Senior Vice President of Government Affairs & Corporate Communications.
Ms Shea will oversee the company’s Federal and State Government Relations, Corporate Social Responsibility, Communications, and Customer Education.
Company CEO Deanie Elsner warmly welcomed Ms Shea, who she said “brings tremendous experience” and “extensive leadership”.
