Clean Air Metals (AIR) announced new assay results from the 2022 drill campaign at the Thunder Bay North Project.

The company found traces amounts of platinum group elements-copper-nickel mineralization throughout three different bulk sample holes. Hole CLM22-007 results allegedly support the grade profile of the production area up to year four of the company’s preliminary economic assessment mine plan.

“The drilling assay results are in line with expectations for peer-leading mill head grade in the first seven years of mining at Thunder Bay North… potential for massive sulphides outside the [preliminary economic assessment] production area remains at the base of the Escape and Current magma conduits… The company is presently expanding its work permit footprint to accommodate a drill program on these targets this winter,” Abraham Drost, CEO of Clean Air, said.

As a part of its process, the company has selected and contracted SLR Consulting to provide independent validation of an updated Thunder Bay North Project resource estimate for a pre-feasibility study.

The updated resource estimate will include 53600 metres of new drilling completed on the Escape deposit since the last assessment was released and 6500 metres of additional infill drilling on the Current deposit since the cut-off date for the preliminary economic.

Clean Air Metals Inc. (AIR) is up 2.78 per cent and is trading at $0.18 per share as of 1:04 p.m. ET.
