The health services company, CloudMD Software & Services (DOC) appointed Dhruv Chandra as its new Chief Technology Officer.

Dhruv will oversee and provide strategic direction to the technical and engineering teams within CloudMD.

“I am excited to join CloudMD as there is an incredible opportunity to help redefine how healthcare is provided and to make a positive impact on millions of lives,” added Dhruv Chandra, Chief Technology Officer.

In addition, he will also focus on the enhancement of its technology systems, with special attention towards cloud-native, secure, and compliant architecture.

Dhruv has led cross-functional teams to design, plan, implement, and govern complex technology strategies including managing cloud data risk management for some of Canada’s biggest financial institutions.

“Establishing a CTO role is critical to maximize our technical assets as we embark on CloudMD’s multi-year strategic growth plan,” said Karen Adams, CEO of CloudMD.

Amongst some of Dhruv’s responsibilities are developing a customer facing technology roadmap, system integration, and driving the company’s innovation agenda.

“We are leveraging technology to make it easier for individuals to access heath care navigation that is both personalized and solves business problems such as absenteeism and disability for our customers,” added Adams.
