Cronos Group (CRON) announced the launch of a CBC-focused product, the Spinach FEELZ THC+CBC Day Trip Mango Lime gummies.

The company utilizes Ginkgo Bioworks’ platform for its organism design and development.

The Spinach FEELZ Day Trip gummies are the first CBC gummy product in Canada. It is also the first to feature a 3:1 ratio of CBC to THC. The product is currently available in Alberta and British Columbia, with plans to roll out to additional provinces soon.

Mike Gorenstein, Chairman, President, and CEO of Cronos, commented on the news.

“We’re incredibly excited about the potential of CBC.  The Spinach FEELZ Day Trip gummies have a combination of THC and CBC, which offers a unique and differentiated experience. Our patent-pending formulation is its own special vibe.”

Spinach FEELZ is Cronos’ brand. It focuses on bringing a full line of products featuring rare cannabinoids to consumers in a wide range of product formats. Each product aims to deliver unique and enhanced experiences through proprietary blends of rare cannabinoids alongside more common cannabinoids, like THC and CBD.

Cronos cultivates and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis through its medicinal brand, Peace Naturals, and recreational brands, Cove and Spinach.

Cronos Group Inc. (CRON) is down 2.92 per cent, trading at C$3.99 per share at 12:02 pm ET.
