Datametrex has entered into an agreement to acquire 100% of Perspectum Drone Inspection Services.

Datametrex AI Limited (DM) has entered into a Letter of Intent to acquire 100% of Perspectum Drone Inspection Services Ltd. a privately held Alberta-based artificial intelligence drone imaging predictive analytic services company.

The definitive agreement is expected to be signed on or before March 31, 2021.

Once the transaction has closed, Perspectum will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Datametrex. Ty Pfeifer will be appointed President of Perspectum.

As businesses and countries continue to work towards zero emissions and carbon neutral footprints, we believe that adding this imaging predictive AI element to our existing cybersecurity business will drive significant value for our stakeholders.”, said Marshall Gunter, Datametrex’s Chief Executive Officer.

Datametrex will provide Perspectum with $550,000 to allow the completion of its AI integration and to purchase a second drone/camera platform.

Founded in 2019, Perspectum is a drone-based imaging predictive analytics AI services company, focusing on environmental and safety predictive analysis.

Perspectum deploys multiple technologies including delivery platforms, sensors, software and data management to deliver the most efficient inspection services available while addressing matters related to safety, environment, accuracy, reliability, and cost.

DataMetrex AI Ltd is a Canadian-based data company. It focuses on collecting, analyzing, and presenting structured and unstructured data using machine learning and artificial intelligence.

Datametrex AI (DM) is up 6.25 per cent, trading at C$0.255 per share at 10:15 am EST.
