Datametrex’s (DM) Medi-Call subsidiary is now serving international students in Canada.

Medi-Call is a subscription-based mobile telehealth app equipped to handle prescriptions and real-time communication.

According to a recent survey from Angus Reid, six million Canadians don’t have a family doctor and have been searching for over a year to access one.

This burden is exacerbated for international students – including almost 400,000 enrolled in Canadian higher education, according to Erudera – as they focus on settling into a new country.

Medi-Call intends to become this market’s choice provider of essential health care services. To this end, it has gained access to an international network of students abroad in search of health care solutions.

“This is an opportunity for Medi-Call to grow its patient base and help provide fast and efficient health care services to those who need it,” stated Marshall Gunter, Datametrex’s CEO.

Datametrex AI is a technology company with exposure to artificial intelligence, machine learning, telehealth and the electric vehicle market.

Datametrex (DM) is down by 5.88 per cent, trading at $0.08 per share as of 12:54 pm EST.
