Delta 9 Cannabis (TSX:DN) has opened a cannabis store in Grand Prairie, Alberta, as part of its ongoing expansion in the province.

The store is located at 106, 10126 120 Ave, in the Northridge Business Centre. The NBC is located in the north end of Grand Prairie’s shopping and business district.

Delta 9’s new cannabis store opens on June 20, 2020, and will offer a wide range of cannabis products. These include dried cannabis flower, cannabis oil, vapes, cartridges, edibles, and related cannabis accessories. 

The store will be manned by highly trained staff, who will provide a unique retail cannabis shopping experience.

The Grand Prairie store is Delta 9’s latest store to open, but the second opened in Alberta in two weeks. Last week, the company opened a cannabis store in Calgary, as part of an ongoing strategic plan for the province.

Delta 9’s CEO, John Arbuthnot, commented on the opening, which he considers to be a key strategic priority.

“Delta 9 is excited to bring Grande Prairie customers some of the best selection of cannabis products, at the lowest prices, from the most popular cannabis producers in Canada.

“Opening our Grande Prairie retail store on the heels of our Calgary store opening last week is a clear demonstration of our focus on this market.

“By completing the acquisition of these Alberta stores, Delta 9 anticipates strengthening its financial position and operating income from these strategically located stores,” he said.

Delta 9 Cannabis (DN) is up 1.85 per cent and is trading at C$0.55 per share at 12:55pm EDT.
