Drone company Draganfly (DFLY) has entered into a partnership with organic sanitiser brand Varigard.

Varigard is a patented bio-based organic sanitiser, which has been lab-tested to isolate and kill pathogens and viruses. These include the notorious COVID-19 coronavirus, STAPH, E Coli, Ebola, SARS, pneumonia, and others.

Varigard contains no toxic chemicals, and comes in various formats including hand sanitiser gel, surface disinfectant, and an atomised version. All three of these products are effective at isolating and killing the efficacy of pathogens and viruses for at least two hours.

As an exclusive supplier, Draganfly will use its drone technologies to deliver Varigard’s surface sanitiser to arenas, stadiums, and concert venues. Varigard’s atomised version of its sanitiser is designed for spraying large venues like these.

The two companies hope that this initiative will help such venues to serve customers safely during the ongoing COVID-19 crisis.

Varigard’s managing partner, Mike Paolillo, said the brand is excited to team up with Draganfly for such an important reason.

“It is critical that we deliver cost-effective and safe products to help get our world back to normal,” he added.

Meanwhile Draganfly CEO Cameron Chell commented on the potential presented by the company’s partnership with Varigard.

“The surface disinfecting market size is surging and expected to reach $1.5 billion by 2027, due in part to the requirement to disinfect large areas like stadiums.

“Varigard has already established a technical leadership position and we look forward to providing the most advanced drones and services to their customers,” he said.

Draganfly (DFLY) remains unchanged and is trading for $0.60 per share at 10:21am EDT.
