Eminent Gold Corp (TSXV:EMNT) is a Nevada focused gold exploration company pursuing world-class gold discoveries using new concepts and modern exploration methods. The Market online recently sat down with CEO and Director, Paul Sun.

The following is a transcription of the above video, and The Market Online has edited it for clarity.

TMO: Let’s dive into the company’s capital access and project opportunities. Elaborate for our audience on how your company’s strong access to capital and quality project opportunities positions you ahead of competitors in the Nevada mining landscape.

Sun: We just actually closed two and a half million dollars in financing with the support of our strong existing shareholders. Including directors and officers. We also welcomed some new shareholders to the Eminent family, which was great. So having shareholders aligned with us to make a discovery and having patience during the past couple of years where the markets weren’t great, allowed us to protect their capital structure and our operations.

Our technical team is based in Nevada. They have extensive experience and relationships, which allows us to be shown opportunities all the time and we’ve been very selective and think about our current projects and any future projects as a diversified portfolio based on various stages, timelines to discovery with the goal of mitigating risk for ourselves, for our shareholders.

Eminent is quite unique in that it ticks all the boxes that an investor would look for in that, we found gold twice in the past and created above average shareholder returns. That can be repeated. We have multiple shots on goal for discovery. We have great infrastructure being in Nevada and having strong access to capital allows us to continue to explore, look at acquisitions and basically drive shareholder value. So as an example, Hot Springs Range, is our flagship. That’s a direct analog to Twin Creeks and Turquoise Ridge, 20 million ounce producing mines. That’s a huge swing for us and it could change the face of Nevada. So if we get it right, it’ll be a win for everybody.

TMO: Eminent Gold has quite the track record of success with a management team known for monetizing discoveries multiple times. So what specific strategies or experiences have contributed to your success in turning potential into profit?

Sun: I’d say our secret weapon is our Chief Geo, Dan McCoy. He’s found 5 million ounces in West Africa. He’s found gold in Mexico and that company was sold to Agnico. So we’re hoping that it’s third time’s a charm with Dan in Nevada and what we really look for as a strategy is we look for deposits that will move the needle for majors. As you mentioned at the outset, Eminent’s foundation is focused on applying new concepts and fresh perspectives to exploration to Nevada. So our projects are situated in some of the best districts in the world, such as the 42 million ounce Getchell Trend and the 80 million ounce Walker Lane trend. We’re looking to monetize what others haven’t thought of or have missed in the past. So we know that the biggest return for a shareholder is at the point of discovery and that’s currently where Eminent is at. So that’s where we want to be.

TMO: How is your proactive strategy specifically designed to capitalize on this momentum and what indicators are you monitoring to guide your decisions?

Sun: We think that gold does has good legs here. It’s in a secular long-term run. It’s up 35% year to date. Experts like Goldman Sachs are saying it’s going to $3,000 based on geopolitical events. There’s obviously a big election today in the U.S. In the past though, we were patient and we deliberately didn’t drill in a capital market environment that would not have rewarded a discovery. So as a result, we continue to prepare our projects so when the time was right, we could capitalize on that momentum and based on where gold is right now, we do think that we are ready to drill, to market, look at potential acquisitions. So the next few quarters should be very exciting for shareholders.

TMO: Tell us about some insights into the Hot Springs Range project and Gilbert South. What unique advantages do these projects offer and how do they align with your vision for uncovering hidden potential in Nevada?

Sun: Hot Springs as mentioned is our flagship. It’s extremely exciting in that it’s only 15 kilometers away from Twin Creeks and Turquoise Ridge, two monster Gold mines on the other side of the 42 million ounce Getchell Trend and Hot Springs is on the other side where before we showed up. There was literally no exploration in the area and being in Nevada, you’d think that there would be a pin cushion of drill holes but the original thinking was that the age of the rocks didn’t match those mines on the other side but to the credit of our technical team, they hypothesized that it didn’t matter as long as the proper plumbing was in place. So, all the work that we’ve done to date so far, geochemistry, geophysics has basically shown that it is a direct analog to those mines on the other side. Including the size potential to be a world-class deposit. So it’s our flagship, it’s super exciting. We can’t wait to drill it. That’s going to be coming very soon and then flipping the Gilbert South, also very exciting. It’s in the 80 million ounce Walker Lane Trend. Historically, it was shallowly mined right at the surface. This is where we’re seeing great gold bearing samples. Actually up to an ounce per ton with multiple zones to target over a two and a half kilometer strike. So we think that we’re standing over an epithermal bonanza vein system. We’ll be chasing that high grade just below the surface to find the source.

TMO: Given the current challenges facing the junior mining sector, particularly regarding capital inflows and liquidity, what proactive measures is your company taking to enhance investor confidence? Furthermore, to attract the necessary funding for exploration initiatives?

Sun: We’ve been very patient with our exploration timing and have protected our share capital. We only have just under 60 million shares outstanding. Our shareholders are aligned with us as we are all owners and focused on making a discovery. So we run the company very lean, have a very low burn rate and we try to use our purchase capital as efficiently and wisely as possible. As mentioned, we do think the market is turning. We are looking to create more awareness now as we speak. Doing interviews such as this and again, we think the timing is right and fingers crossed, should we have success, our shares should have a lot of torque to the upside.
