Enthusiast (EGLX) has partnered with Fractal to integrate NFTs into its EV.IO multiplayer game.

Fractal is an NFT marketplace co-founded by Justin Kan, co-founder of Twitch.

EV.IO is a browser-based shooting game by Enthusiast subsidiary Addicting Games currently sponsored by Hut 8 (HUT).

The deal will see Fractal assist with the launch of EV.IO NFTs on its platform, including skin cosmetics and digital real estate.

Players that already own cosmetics in EV.IO will receive free whitelist tokens to mint NFTs as a reward for early adoption.

The official EV.IO NFT mint is scheduled for next month.

“We are excited to build a better gameplay experience for our community, and to be taking this important step into Web 3.0 with industry pioneers like Justin Kan and the team at Fractal,” stated Adrian Montgomery, Enthusiast’s CEO.

“NFTs are better for gamers, allowing them to have true ownership of the assets they buy and earn in-game,” added Kan. “We are very excited about the possibilities ahead for Fractal and EV.IO.”

Enthusiast Gaming is an integrated gaming entertainment company focused on media, talent, esports and experiences.

Enthusiast (EGLX) is up by 1.71 per cent trading at $2.98 per share as of 10:47 am EST.
