First Responder Technologies (CSE:WPN) has signed an exclusive distribution partnership agreement with Sabre Global UK.

The reseller agreement will allow Sabre to distribute First Responder’s products to the market in the United Kingdom.

Sabre’s focus as a value-added reseller is on introducing North American military and public safety technology to the UK. First Responder’s products are WiFi-based technologies which detect and deter mass shootings and terrorist attacks.

The agreement requires that Sabre distribute a minimum number of First Responder units to maintain exclusive distribution rights there. If Sabre does this, the agreement would generate over C$15.3 million in revenue by the end of 2022.

First Responder’s CEO, Robert Delamar, commented on the partnership.

“With leading government agencies and private sector clients in the UK, Sabre UK is well positioned to develop the market for First Responder’s products and services in the Territory. We look forward to partnering with their experienced team to help build a business there,” he said.

Sabre Global UK’s Commercial Director, Ian Church, also welcomed the agreement.

“The First Responder-Sabre partnership brings together extensive skills in business and technology strategy, product ideation, technology development and deployment, and most importantly, public safety.

“This partnership aligns with our core strategy on many fronts. We are excited to introduce First Responder’s innovative detection products to our valued customers,” he said.

The two companies will work together for the rest of 2020 to engage UK defence and public safety agencies. They will also work to ramp up and roll out customer support and service in the UK market.

The first delivery of units should arrive before the end of this calendar year, with subsequent deliveries accelerating thereafter.

First Responder is up 3.23 per cent, and is currently trading for $0.16 per share as of 2:16pm EDT.
