Giant Mining (CSE:BFG) is expanding its baseline exploration program at the Majuba Hill Porphyry Copper-Silver-Gold Project, located in Pershing County, Nevada. This decision follows the company’s successful 2024–2025 core drilling campaign, which returned encouraging high-grade copper results.

The latest drilling results have confirmed significant mineralization, particularly from core holes MHB-30 and MHB-32. These holes intersected high-grade copper within porphyry-related, tourmaline-matrix breccia zones, reinforcing the potential for a robust mineralized system both at depth and laterally across the project area.

Giant Mining has integrated extensive surface geology and geophysical datasets into an AI-driven modeling system developed by ExploreTech. This advanced system has played a pivotal role in identifying new high-priority targets and guiding the company’s decision to accelerate exploration efforts.

As part of the expanded program, the company is launching Phase 2 of its evaluation strategy, which combines machine-learning insights with targeted fieldwork, including breccia mapping and sampling in the Northern Zone Breccia Corridor. This area hosts magmatic-hydrothermal breccias with geological characteristics similar to those encountered in the recent drill campaign. Historical surface geochemical data from the Northern Zone also reveals strong anomalies in copper, silver, molybdenum, and tin.

Drilling highlights from 2024–2025

Seven core holes (MHB-30 through MHB-36) were completed, totalling 7,370.5 feet (2,246.53 metres). This brings the cumulative drilling at Majuba Hill to 89,395 feet (27,247.5 metres), significantly enhancing the geological model and advancing the project toward a maiden mineral resource estimate.

Key Intercept – Hole MHB-30:

  • 218.0 feet of 1.35 per cent Cu and 73.4 g/t Ag from surface (0–66.4 metres), including:
    • 74.0 feet (22.6 metres) at 2.6 per cent Cu and 30.1 g/t Ag

These results point to the potential of Majuba Hill as a significant porphyry copper-silver-gold system and mark a major step forward in the company’s development strategy.

“The 2025 drill program at Majuba Hill has been our most ambitious and technically advanced to date. The consistency and predictability of results from our focused drilling campaigns have strengthened the technical team’s confidence in advancing Majuba as the next significant copper discovery in Nevada, with the potential to support a future mineral resource estimate,” David Greenway, CEO of Giant Mining, commented in a news release. “While assays are still pending from Phase 1 2025, visual core logging and detailed analysis of the 2024 core have already provided a solid foundation for planning Phase 2 in Q3 or Q4 2025.”

Giant Mining Corp. identifies, acquires, and advances late-stage copper and copper/silver/gold projects to meet the growing global demand for critical metals.
