- Globex Mining reported new gold drill results from Emperor Metals Duquesne West option project.
- Highlights included 7.0 grams per tonne gold over 24.8 metres in hole DQ26-61.
- Emperor has resumed a fully funded 3,000000-metre drill program; more assays remain pending.
Globex Mining Enterprises Inc. (TSX: GMX) reported additional gold drill results from Emperor Metals Inc. 2026 program at the Duquesne West Project, which Emperor is earning into under an option agreement with Duparquet Assets Ltd., a 50%-owned Globex subsidiary.
The release summarized results from six drill holes from Emperors 2026 drill campaign, including several near-surface gold intersections. Globex said Emperors 2026 program included 20,479 metres of new drilling and about 8,000 metres of targeted historical core resampling.

Among the highlighted intercepts, hole DQ26-61 returned 7.0 g/t gold over 24.8 m from approximately 85 m vertical depth. Other reported near-surface intersections included DQ26-57 (8.7 g/t gold over 8.40 m from approximately 41 m vertical depth), DQ26-63 (4.0 g/t gold over 18.9 m from approximately 100 m vertical depth), DQ26-59 (6.1 g/t gold over 8.60 m from approximately 46 m vertical depth), and DQ26-62 (2.6 g/t gold over 11.4 m from approximately 57 m vertical depth).
Globex also disclosed that 83% of drill holes have now been reported (55 of 66 holes). It added that assay results received to date represent 61% of the total assays expected from the broader 202526 drill season, which includes the historic core resampling program.
Emperor has resumed what Globex described as a fully funded diamond drilling program, with an additional 3,000 to 5,000 metres planned. Globex said Emperor is targeting up to 33,000 metres of new data to further refine and expand the resource model from the 2026 drill program.
According to Globex, the goal of the drilling completed to date and the new drilling is to complete a new National Instrument 43-101 mineral resource estimate and a preliminary economic assessment in the near term. The release also referenced planning for selective overburden stripping across a conceptual phase 1 open pit, with overburden described as less than 5 m depth.
Globex said more than 142,000 metres of drilling have been completed at Duquesne West, including historical drilling dating back to the 1930s. The company noted that David Christie, P.Geo., Globexs president and chief operating officer, prepared the disclosure as a qualified person under National Instrument 43-101 using information and data in Emperors November 3, 2026 press release.
