GoldSpot Discoveries (SPOT) has partnered with Critical Elements Lithium (CRE) to identify lithium targets using GoldSpot’s proprietary AI technology.

The company has been working to highlight the lithium potential of Critical Elements’ Bourier claims in the Nemiscau greenstone belt in Quebec.

Today’s results include a geological interpretation of mapping and surveying across the property. Critical Elements has also completed its 2021 summer exploration program using GoldSpot’s AI-driven data.

GoldSpot generated lithium targets using a “smart targeting” approach of knowledge- and AI-driven methods.

In total, the survey identified 15 lithium exploration targets, reducing the area of investigation to approximately 9.5 per cent of the total claim holding.

An exploration crew composed of Critical Elements’ and GoldSpot’s geoscientists conducted a 20-day prospecting program at the Bourier project, with a focus on the high- to moderate-confidence lithium targets generated by GoldSpot.

“The new discoveries within GoldSpot Smart Targets are a great accomplishment for GoldSpot, Critical Elements, and Lomiko and we look forward to working to validate additional findings,” said GoldSpot CEO Vincent Dubé-Bourgeois.

Jean-Sébastien Lavallée, CEO of Critical Elements, commented, “We are very pleased with the results of the Summer 2021 exploration program conducted on the Bourier project. The surface exploration program has confirmed that combined AI targeting and the outcrop detection conducted by GoldSpot succeeded in identifying new lithium-bearing pegmatites.”

GoldSpot Discoveries is a leading technology services company leveraging machine learning to transform the mineral discovery process. GoldSpot produces Smart Targets and advanced geological modelling that save time, reduce costs, and provide accurate results.

GoldSpot Discoveries (SPOT) is up 2.15 per cent, trading at $0.95 per share as of 1:20 pm ET.
