Heritage (HML) has completed its 2022 field program at its Drayton-Black Lake Project in Ontario.
The program focused on characterizing known high-grade mineralization for a planned follow-up drill program and was successful in confirming numerous surface exposures of high-grade Au and Au-Ag mineralization.
The company identified several significant relationships and new prospect areas, including new veins and extensions of known vein systems along strike, which will improve future exploration vectors.
Highlights
Alcona consists of a mineralized deformation corridor over 1,000 m and up to 200 m wide.
Its Main Prospect is highlighted by 2022 grab samples up to 58.1 g/t Au. The company completed nine channels over 250 m of strike with 50 sample assays pending.
Its Pond Prospect returned 2022 grab samples up to 24.6 g/t Au with nine channels completed over 250 m of strike and 80 sample assays pending.
Alcona-New Millennium consists of at least two mineralized deformation corridors highlighted by the New Millennium Prospect, which returned 2022 grab samples up to 46.5 g/t Au.
Multiple quartz veins ranged from 0.50 m to 1 m wide with carbonate and sulphides.
Multi-element analysis of vein material averaged 19.3 g/t Au, 97.6 g/t Ag and 76 ppm Te.
The company completed nine channels at the prospect with 42 sample assays pending.

Moretti consists of a mineralized deformation corridor over 2,500 m. Drilling by previous operators identified narrow high-grade Au intervals up to 190.7 g/t over 0.24 m.
Grab sampling (2022) returned up to 208 g/t Au with seven channels completed and 30 samples pending assays.
The company observed multiple shear-parallel quartz veins, associated carbonate alteration, and coarse gold.
Grab samples at the Black Lake Prospect returned up to 0.95 g/t Au with 16 channels completed and 68 sample assays pending.
The Forster Area features sheeted quartz veins referred to historically as the Hi-Grade Showing. The company collected five samples with assays pending and confirmed a 6 m zone with multiple cm-scale quartz-carbonate veins that were historically sampled.
CEO Peter Schloo views the program as confirmation that Drayton-Black Lake is highly prospective. He spoke with Sabrina Cuthbert about the field team’s observations and what they mean for the company’s exploration efforts moving forward.
