i-80 Gold Corp (IAU) has discovered a new gold horizon and additional high-grade gold results, expanding mineralization at the Ruby Hill Property.

The Ruby Hill Property is in Nevada.

The additional drilling has added more than 30,000 metres to the company’s 2022 program and focused on defining and expanding gold mineralization in the primary zones while testing several high-potential targets.

Continued results from this new 007 Zone show expansion potential at the Ruby Deeps deposit and have discovered new high-grade mineralization in the 007 and Blue Sky targets.

Ewan Downie, CEO of i-80, commented,

“Step-out drilling in the 426 and Ruby Deeps Zones continue to confirm our belief that Ruby Hill has excellent potential to host a world-class, Carlin-type, gold deposit… drilling has now resulted in multiple new discoveries including at the 007, Hilltop and Blue Sky targets with extensive alteration and mineralization, further demonstrating a system comparable to several of Nevada’s most productive gold districts.”

The company’s ongoing infill and step-out drill program will advance its plan to develop an underground mine at Ruby Hill, which will be accessed via a ramp from the Archimedes open pit. Infill drilling is being completed for initial mine planning and to upgrade resources for the completion of an economic study.

Also, step-out drilling is being completed and is focused on expanding mineralization in advance of completing a revised resource estimate at year-end. I-80’s program at Ruby Hill is one of several that combined are expected to be made up of more than 50,000 metres.

i-80 Gold Corp. (IAU) is up 2.69 per cent, trading at $2.67 per share as of 3:08 p.m. ET.
