i-80 Gold Corp. (IAU) has discovered new high-grade zinc-gold-lead mineralization from initial testing at the Hilltop Corridor at its Ruby Hill Property in Nevada.

This corridor was largely untested during previous drilling. However, the company’s current program has yielded substantial success with three mineralizaed new discoveries having been made in the first dozen holes drilled. It also found polymetallic carbonate replacement deposit mineralization in the upper and lower Hilltop zones.

Tyler Hill, Senior Geologist at i-80, commented,

“Significant expansion at Ruby Deeps, new discoveries at Hilltop and now high-grade mineralization in the eastern portion of the Hilltop Corridor have made for an exciting year.”

In addition to work completed on gold targets at several deposits on the project, the company has been drill testing multiple target areas for potential polymetallic and base metal mineralization.

Ewan Downie, CEO of i-80, stated,

“Our ongoing drill program continues to confirm the substantial upside potential of the Ruby Hill Property with our new discoveries ranking amongst the highest-grade new discoveries being made anywhere in the world… All deposits are located in close proximity to the underground infrastructure being planned in 2023.”

The company is planning to add an additional core rig to quickly advance the mineralized zones within the Hilltop Corridor and to further test a new gold target recently identified by its team of geologists.

i-80 Gold Corp. (IAU) is down 4.65 per cent trading at $3.58 per share as of 1:40 p.m. EST.
