IBI Group (IBG) has been awarded a traffic operations and services contract by the City of Toronto.

The company will operate the Road Emergency Services Communications Unit Traffic Operations Centre for a period of up to five years.

IBI will leverage its smart city product offerings, including CurbIQ and Travel-IQ, to support improved road safety and the efficient movement of goods and people across the city. This includes enhanced data analytics and automated monitoring and managing of highways and urban arterial roadways to address commuter congestion.
